Helicopter at Freedom High School? No Worries!

Freedom High Schools Drivers Education Parking Area will serve as an occasional landing site for helicopters moving patients to and from Sentara Hospital, as that facility undergoes construction work through March, 2014.

Helicopter use will be infrequent, generally outside of school hours, and done in conjunction with the Prince William County Fire Department, to assure complete safety.

We are glad to provide help facilitate an important service to our community while hospital work is underway, said Freedom Principal Inez Bryant. Everyone just needs to know that the sight of a copter doesn't suggest something is wrong.  Our students and our schedule will be completely unaffected.
