GOVERNOR'S ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE AWARD
|
|
|
The Center for Environmental and Natural Sciences (CENS) program at Freedom High School has received a Governor's Environmental Excellence Award. The CENS program and administrative coordinator, LouEllen P. Brademan, was recognized at an awards banquet held during the Environment Virginia 2008 Conference in Lexington on April 2. Awards are given to business and industrial facilities, government agencies and individuals. The CENS program received the Gold Medal in the Environmental Program (Government) category.
